Chief orders full review of Mountie child torture case: 'What did we know at what time?'
Ottawa's police chief has ordered a full review of how investigators handled allegations of child abuse from a 9-year-old-boy, who was sent back to live with the father now accused of torturing and starving him in a darkened Kanata basement.
After learning police visited with the victim of a horrific case of child torture nearly two years before the extent of the abuse came to light, Chief Charles Bordeleau wants to know “exactly what steps were taken and what did we know at what time.”
