"UNM" responds to statement of multiparty group of MEPs
The National Movement members have responded to the letter of appeal to the President and the Prime Minister of Georgia by a multiparty group of MEPs.
According to Sergi Kapanadze, the appeal regards politically motivated cases of Vano Merabishvili and Gigi Ugulava , highlights the Rustavi 2 case and in general, states that the political persecution in Georgia is unacceptable.
MEPs expressed support to the continuation of Georgia`s transformation process and viza liberalization. They urge the goverment to deal with the unresolved issues that hinder the country`s progress.
