Reducing the number of checkpoints in occupied Abkhazia is another violation of human rights - Davit Zalkaliani

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs commented on the fact that the right to free movement in occupied Abkhazia had been even more restricted. According to him, the number of crossing points on the occupied territory of Abkhazia has recently been decreased, which is another violation of human rights.

Davit Zalkaliani hopes that this problem will soon be solved, and the people there will be able to move freely.

"In this regard, the EU, Norway, the US, Poland and other delegations, have called on the Russian Federation, which has effective control over the territory to immediately end these actions and to give the local population the right of free movement," - said Deputy Foreign Minister.
