Grains, Livestock mixed
CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mixed Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for May was off 7 cents at $5.3925 a bushel; May corn lost 2 cents at $4.3575 a bushel; May oats fell 1.50 cents at $3.5550 a bushel; while May soybeans gained 7 cents at $11.9125 a bushel.
Beef was lower and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Apr. live cattle fell .05 cent at $1.8787 a pound; Mar. feeder cattle was down .02 cent at $2.5050 a pound; Apr. lean hogs was up .15 cent at $.8592 a pound.
