Revealed changes in the fashion for female breasts by years

Journalists have revealed changes in women’s breast fashion over the decades, reports The Sun.

According to the material, in the 40s of the last century, women abandoned corsets in favor of a bra. At that time, postcards with images of models in lingerie became popular, who had an ideal, in the opinion of the public, bust – quite large and pointed. The same trend continued in the 1950s, when women began to sew special linings into their underwear.

In the 60s, the singer Twiggy became widely known, who gave birth to a taste for boyish figures with small breasts – this fashion continued into the next decade. However, in the 1980s, everything changed: men’s attention shifted to a large bust. At the same time, plastic surgery for breast augmentation was gaining popularity.

It is noted that in the 90s, the public was divided into two camps: some admired the small breasts, like supermodel Kate Moss, while others preferred the lush breasts, which celebrities often showed, wearing outfits with a deep neckline. At that time, round implants became trendy – with their help it was possible to achieve an elastic bust.

In the 2000s, plastic surgery became more and more popular, which led to the fashion for oversized breasts. However, in the next decade, women began to massively get rid of huge implants to make their bust look more natural.

According to the publication, now women prefer to have breasts proportional to other body parameters. Patients come to doctors with a desire to achieve natural and feminine forms, namely – wide hips, thin waist and round chest.

In June, the head of the Institute of Plastic Surgery, Ksenia Delnik, named the most popular fake breast size among Russian women. She also noted that women stopped turning to doctors for extreme breast augmentation, preferring to preserve its anatomical shape.
