Death toll from pedestrian collisions in Trier rises to five
Five people were killed after hitting pedestrians in West German Trier, police said. Previously, it was known about four dead.
“We can confirm the death of five people, including a child,” – said in a message to the local police on Twitter. Several people were injured.
On December 1, in Trier, a car drove into a crowd of pedestrians in a pedestrian zone. Police say the 51-year-old driver was drunk. He could have a mental illness. The driver was detained.
