Trump says he knew Cruz wasn't going to endorse him, 'let him speak anyway'
Donald Trump has responded to Ted Cruz's endorsement-less speech at the Republican National Convention, saying he knew about it in advance but "let him speak anyway."
Wow, Ted Cruz got booed off the stage, didn't honor the pledge! I saw his speech two hours early but let him speak anyway. No big deal!

With that off his chest, Trump tweeted his congratulations to his running mate, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence.
