AFC reports revenue of $292m and budgets for $627m for 2027/28
April 29 – The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has reported $292.7 million for its last financial year, a $32 million+ improvement on its budgeted revenue figure of $259.9 million.
The figures were approved by the AFC membership at its 36th Annual Congress yesterday in Vancouver, Canada, ahead of the FIFA Congress that takes place today.
The largest contributor to revenue is from broadcast and sponsorship at $215 million, with $50 million being generated from host nation grant support for its competition and $9 million from interest receive and ‘other income’.
