Carpenter removes public school doors for non-payment
A carpenter removed a total of 56 doors from the T'upac Amaru public school in the city of Tumbes, because the Regional Government did not cancel the debt they had since 2015, when they were placed. He got tired of waiting for the debt they had to pay him, then he took his hammer and removed the doors he installed. Instead, the campus principal had to put up several wooden shelves to protect children and property inside each classroom. According to the provider, the debt they have since 2015 exceeds 50.000 soles, whose amount was considered in the reconstruction of this emblematic school. Apparently, the health care providers and the windows of the institution would suffer the same fate, as providers are defaulted from 2015 and have warned the authorities that they would take this radical decision if they do not receive their payments in the next few days.
