DONALD Trump tried to fire Robert Mueller TWICE while he was probing him over potential links to Moscow, the special counsel’s redacted reports says.
While the 448-page document found no criminal conspiracy between the US President and Russia – some of the claims about Trump are startling.
The reports says the brash billionaire instructed White House lawyer Don McGahn to remove Muller from the probe.
This happened once month after the former FBI chief was appointed to the investigation following Trump’s sacking of James Comey.
According to the report, Trump twice asked McGhan to fire the investigator telling him “Mueller has to go” adding “call me back when you do it.”
McGhan reportedly felt “word down” and “trapped” by the US President and tried to quit rather than carry out the alleged command.
However, when White House aides persuaded him not to leave, Trump never asked him if he had fired Mueller, the report says.
EXPLOSIVE CLAIMS
According to the document, there is “substantial evidence” that Trump attempted to remove the Special Counsel because “the president was being investigated for potential obstruction of justice.”
Mueller’s report identified 10 instances of possible obstruction of justice by President Trump.
They include allegedly asking then-FBI Director James to drop an investigation into the US leader’s then-national security adviser Michael Flynn.
Another instance is Trump’s firing of Comey in May 2017 after the top cop’s unwillingness to say publicly that the New York property tycoon was not personally under investigation.
On the day after he fired Comey, the president told Russian officials that he had “faced great pressure because of Russia. That’s taken off.”
The explosive reports also states Trump said “This is the end of my presidency. I’m f***ed” when he was first told about Mueller’s investigation.
The US President made the comment to former Attorney General Jeff Sessions when he told him about the probe into alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election.
According to Sessions’ chief of staff Jody Hunt, the brash New York billionaire said: “Oh my God. This is terrible. This is the end of my presidency. I’m f***ed.”
Trump, angry at the attorney general’s decision to recuse himself from the investigation, asked Sessions: “How could you let this happen, Jeff?” the reports claims.
The outspoken US leader reportedly told Sessions that he’d heard special counsels ruin presidencies and that the probe could take “years and years and I won’t be able to do anything.”
The report says that The Donald declared: “This is the worst thing to ever happen to me.”

Mueller was appointed in May 2017 after the US President sacked FBI director James Comey – who was heading the investigation into the Trump campaign’s alleged ties to Moscow.
Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein was then appointed to oversee the special counsel after Sessions recused himself because of his fervent support for Trump during the election.
