Kellogg’s has one of the most iconic logos in consumer goods. Now, for the first time, that logo is also a custom typeface.
WK Kellogg Co and advisory firm Brunswick tapped type foundries XYZ and Plau to expand Kellogg’s historic red script wordmark, which is based on the signature of founder William Keith Kellogg, from a singular logo that’s graced cereal boxes everywhere into a typeface that could be used just about anywhere. But like any recipe, it took trial and error to get just right.
