PDP suffers huge setback as popular senator dumps party for APC (Photo)
Senator Florence Ita-Giwa of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has dumped the opposition for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) on Friday, April 7.

Senator Florence Ita-Giwa of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has dumped the opposition for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Ita-Giwa made the crossover on Friday, April 7 in a very flamboyant ceremony.
NAIJ.com gathered that Ita-Giwa revealed on Thursday, April 6 that she is defecting to the APC with her huge supporters from her Bakassi constituency to boost the fortunes of the party in Cross River state.
Ita-Giwa, a former special adviser on National Assembly matters to ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo said she is joining her contemporaries in the ruling party.
Pulse reports that Ita-Giwa said her decision to move was because she had been idle in the PDP for over one year.
