The English Football League have confirmed that Walsall Football Club have been named among the seeded sides for Wednesday afternoon's EFL Cup Round One draw.
The Saddlers, who are joined in the South section by sides such as Aston Villa, Birmingham City, and Wolverhampton Wanderers, could take on the likes of Bristol Rovers, Portsmouth and Wycombe Wanderers in the First Round of the competition.

Following yesterday's news that he'd rejected the club's offer of a new three-year contract, Walsall attacking midfielder Romaine Sawyers has taken to Instagram to thank supporters for their love (and hate).

Walsall Manager Jon Whitney has spoken to club journalists following the news that former loanee Florent Cuvelier will be joining the club on a permanent basis, and has discussed his excitement at being able to help Flo achieve his potential.

Shas owns a building in Bet Hakerem that they will be using to establish a museum to commemorate Rav Ovadiah Yosef.

Bet Hakerem is a Jerusalem neighborhood that is largely secular, with some religious people interspersed among them. Walsall Football Club have today confirmed the signing of former loanee Florent Cuvelier following his release by former club Sheffield United.
The 23-year-old former Portsmouth and Stoke City midfielder will become a Saddler on Friday, 1st July following the expiration of his current contract.
