U.S. wildlife officials have decided to extend federal protections to monarch butterflies. Fish and Wildlife Service officials on Tuesday announced plans to list monarchs as threatened. The agency will take public comments on the plan until March before finalizing the move. Monarchs are known for distinctive orange and black markings on their wings. Two bodies have been recovered amid debris from a fishing boat that reportedly capsized with five people aboard in rough seas in waters off southeast Alaska earlier this month. The Alaska Department of Public Safety says authorities on Monday traveled to a bay near the community of Hoonah after remains were found on the beach there. Women in their 20s should still get a Pap test every three years. But after that — from age 30 to 65 — women can get an HPV test every five years.
