Sony today revealed an official attachment for its Dualshock 4 controller, called the Back Button Attachment. This adds, as the name suggests, a button and a pair of paddles to the back of the controller. The new addition is attached to the Dualshock via the port on the bottom of the controller. Bitcoin‘s price could be held down by scammers seeking to liquidate at least $2 billion worth of cryptocurrency belonging to one of the largest ever Ponzi schemes, PlusToken. That’s according to blockchain firm Chainalysis, which says it’s tracked roughly 45,000 BTC ($302 million) and 800,000 ETH ($102 million) sent from PlusToken’s operational wallets to individual addresses owned by the scammers themselves. Bitcoin-hungry ransomware attackers are reportedly threatening to expose victims who fail to pay the requested ransom. According to KrebsOnSecurity, one particular ransomware group has created a public site identifying companies that decided to quietly rebuild their operations instead of coughing up the requested ransom payment. Microsoft is now accepting developers’ submissions of add-ons for its upcoming Chromium-based Edge browser, so as to extend the app’s capabilities. The move — along with the official launch of the revamped browser — could finally give it a chance to realistically compete with the likes of Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.
