Ottawa police have charged an Ottawa man with sexually abusing a child under 10 after responding to a 9-1-1 call in central Ottawa Tuesday. Police said they discovered the child had been sexually assaulted by an adult male inside the home and arrested the man. Jaques Paquette, 54, was charged with one count each of sexual assault and sexual interference. He appeared in court Wednesday.
