Darrell “DJ” McCutcheon, Jr., drowned southwest of Seattle at Anderson Island’s Florence Lake, on July 15, 2022. Police in northern England say four men have been arrested on suspicion of trespassing on the grounds of Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s home. North Yorkshire police say the group was detained just after noon and escorted off the property. They were arrested on suspicion of aggravated trespass. The incident comes just over a week before the U.K.'s general election that will determine if Sunak remains in power. A group called Youth Demand posted video showing a member it said defecated in the pond on Sunak’s property.

The mother of a Chicago woman who vanished last week in the Bahamas while attending a yoga retreat says she’s “deeply concerned” about her daughter’s disappearance in the Caribbean nation. Forty-one-year-old Taylor Casey was last seen on June 19 at the Sivananda Ashram Yoga Retreat on Paradise Island, Bahamas. A news release from her family says the Royal Bahamas Police Force issued a missing person poster on June 21 alerting the public to Casey’s disappearance. Brazil’s Supreme Court has moved toward decriminalizing possession of marijuana for personal use. That would make Brazil one of the last countries in Latin America to do so and could reduce its massive prison population. José Antonio Dias Toffoli said Tuesday that he is in favor of decriminalization, joining five other justices who voted that way since deliberations began in 2015. That establishes a majority on the 11-person court. The last two justices to vote must do so before the ruling is final, and they are expected to do so soon.

4 men arrested for allegedly trespassing on grounds of British prime minister's country home.

Authorities have arrested a man suspected in shootings Monday night at apartments outside of Las Vegas that left five people dead and a 13-year-old girl critically wounded. The North Las Vegas Police Department identified the suspect as 57-year-old Erick Adams. They described the shootings at separate apartments as an “isolated incident” and said there was no active threat to the public. The Taliban have confirmed their delegation will attend an upcoming U.N.-led meeting in Qatar on Afghanistan after the organizers said last week that women would be excluded from the gathering. The June 30-July 1 meeting will be the third U.N.-sponsored gathering on the Afghan crisis. The Taliban were not invited to the first and set unacceptable conditions for attending the second, in February, including demands that Afghan civil society members be excluded from the talks and that they be treated as the country’s legitimate rulers.
