Authorities say the brother of Michigan congressman has been fatally shot at his home north of Flint. Tim Kildee was the 57-year-old brother of Dan Kildee, a congressman representing the Flint area. Sheriff Chris Swanson said Tim Kildee was shot and killed early Tuesday at his home in Vienna Township after a confrontation with his 27-year-old son. New research shows that more than six in 10 of the abortions in the United States last year were done through medication. That's up from 53% in 2020. The Guttmacher Institute is a research group that supports abortion rights, and put out the new research. Its data shows about 642,700 medication abortions were done in the first full calendar year after Roe v. Wade was overturned. Police in Mexico City say residents and schoolkids helped squads of police chase down a wolf that was loose in one of the city’s neighborhoods. Police say the residents and officers chased the animal on foot and on motorbikes before it was finally cornered. Iranian-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen blew up a house in a town southeast of the capital, Sanaa, killing at least nine people from the same family, officials and residents said. The blowup on Tuesday came a day after two Houthi fighters were killed in an ambush allegedly set up by the house’s owner. North Carolina's intermediate-level appeals court has reversed a local judge's decision that ordered a woman to pay child support to her ex-partner who gave birth through in vitro fertilization. Federal authorities are proposing an air tour management plan for the Lake Mead National Recreation Area in southeastern Nevada and northwestern Arizona.
